I want to live in Frida's house. It had a large courtyard with gardens and balconies and stones and sculptures and beds with curtains and flowers and silence and iron work and perfectly placed windows and color and color and color.

Must find more time to sew. This is so much fun. My Spring quilt has been accepted into the Art Quilt Elements show in Philadelphia, April 2010.
new quilt
Gosh I wish my camera was better. This is my new quilt (just finished) I am calling it Stream of Consciousness. The hints of color are from fabric placed below the top layer (signifying subconscious) The detail shot shows some of the thread work and drawings I added with a fabric marker.
