The Quilt National exhibit, from May 25 - September 2, 2013 at the Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, Ohio, has a splendid hard cover catalog available through Dragon Threads. Click here to order your copy, it's a limited edition.

FACE TIME

A new SAQA book, Portfolio 19, The Art Quilt Sourcebook, is now available from the SAQA website. It includes a picture of my quilt, Same But Not on the cover (in the upper left corner) and profiles all of the professional members of the studio art quilt associates. A wonderful opportunity to review many beautiful works of art.

Oh my gosh- the left hierogorical elastipogrom of a carrotosaurus.
A Rare and beautiful find!

this looks an awful lot like the American-Indian-made fetishes that I have bought at museums. (at least the bottom part -- my fetishes tend to have feathers or bits of turquoise on their backs, not red sunbursts)

I love the shape and the attitude. May experiment a bit with it in free-motion.
