A new SAQA book, Portfolio 19, The Art Quilt Sourcebook, is now available from the SAQA website. It includes a picture of my quilt, Same But Not on the cover (in the upper left corner) and profiles all of the professional members of the studio art quilt associates. A wonderful opportunity to review many beautiful works of art.
Tuesday, April 27, 2010 This doodle was done during the SAQA sponsored Symposium, Building an Artists Community. The speakers (Jason Pollen and Deborah Warner) said "see your work, see your surroundings, see, see, see".
Of course, for me, it helps to have glasses on.
